I am gathering material for my web site: The Flower Raj

The Flower Raj archives & documents the written, pictorial & oral histories of travellers & seekers who set out from the West, in the 1950s, 1960s & 1970s, to travel to India.

Some are still there; some never returned; some just disappeared; some died there or returned home & died.

Others live; before they all pass away we need to record their sometimes ground-breaking achievements, their sometimes hilarious situations, their lives, their loves, their highs & their lows.

Please make contact if you wish to become involved or if you have any stories, articles, photographs, videos, audio tapes, or just plain snippets, nuggets of Indian Gold. Note that information on Indian travellers to the West is also of interest & will be included, this was always a two way love affair.
